These are the places I’ve visited, this is what I’ve seen, and these are what I want to share with you.
It is my hope that in presenting these images you will see the absolute beauty and uniqueness of these fragile habitats and will join the growing number of peoples around the world who are committed to preserving them for future generations.
Seahorses, Banded shrimp, Bluebell Tunicates, and many other wondrous lifeforms to discover.
Hawksbill turtles predominate the region - they are hand raised and show no fear of humans.
Turtles, rays and eels were plentiful and the sea mounts were teeming with fish of many varieties.
Some of the more unusual fish this year: frogfish, scorpion fisih, spotted eagle rays, shortnosed batfish
Once again all these photos were taken from around the island of Utila in the Bay Islands of Honduras. We were captivated by the wonder and beauty of this beautiful and bountiful reef system.
It is always an extra treat to be in the water with these 45 ft. gentle giants of the sea.
